I don't have many new photos this week, but what I do have show summer at it's peak.
Sunflowers! Just this week starting to show their blooms.
I love how their little faces follow the sun.
Last week only mommy came to visit. The other evening she brought this little with her.
She was spooked when I raised the blinds to get the photos. She and babe didn't hang around. I feel lucky to have been visited.
I don't remember if I ever introduced you to Walter. He was given to me by my BF. He is 5 ft tall. Exactly my height. He brings charm into my little patch of whatnot garden. I keep hoping for his mate Beatrice to show up.
The deer are so beautiful. I would love to see deer in our yard. Bunnies are pretty much it for us, although we do see some wildlife occasionally.
ReplyDeleteAnd those sunflowers!!! I planted some this year, but they didn't come up. I would love seeing those behind our fence.
DeleteI've never tried planting sunflowers. Maybe next year for the birds. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteSunflowers are some of my favorite flowers. Those are gorgeous. How blessed you were with those sweet visitors. Thanks so much for sharing. HOPE you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSunflowers really are summer. Of course because they are a later blooming plant and people like to decorate
ReplyDeletewith them they could also be called an autumn flower.
The deer pictures are awesome, so nice you live where they can come for a visit! Sure hope Beatrice finds Walter!!
ReplyDeleteNo Beatrice as yet. However, I do have people out looking for her.
DeleteBeautiful. Nature is just so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI really loved seeing the deer.
Walter is so cute. Love him!
Nature is God's way of reminding us of His strength. Thanks for stopping by Annie.
DeleteYou have some wonderful nature photos. I love the yellow sunflowers so much! Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that more sunflower photos will end up on my computer As they continue to grow. They are just so gosh darned pretty. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteGreat summer shots! I love seeing fields of sunflowers. How cool to have the deer that close to the house. Walter looks quite patient waiting for Beatrice :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I don't mind the deer that close, but earlier this Spring when the bear knocked on the door it was more than I wanted.
