Friday Foto Friends #94

Happy Labor Day Everyone! Or the weekend at least. Joining in for Friday Foto Friends.

In May I had the wonderful opportunity to visit a garden that only sold hostas. Acres and acres of hostas. Did you know that there are 100s of varieties of hostas? I didn't. Tiny one, regular ones, giant ones, and jumbo ones. The photos I am sharing today are from the garden. It was a lovely place to stroll and admire the beauty God made for us. This garden is in a residential area of a suburb of Minneapolis. I am not going to comment on the photos. I'm going to let you hopefully enjoy.

  1. I love hostas and miss them. It's too hot here in Florida for them. So many birdhouses at that garden too.

    1. It's funny you mention that you can't grow hostas. I often moan that there are many Floridian plants that won't grow here in MN, because it gets too cold. LOL

  3. Like I told Carol there many plants from Florida that I can't grown. I guess that is all part of God's plan to keep us satisfied with what we have.

  4. I LOVE hostas. We can have them here in Tennessee, if we keep them in shady areas. But I think I like the decorations the best of all....rustic and rusty....just like me!!! ;-) HOPE you have a great Labor Day weekend!

  5. All of my hostas are in almost total shade. I enjoyed the tranquility if the garden. It was a bustling place, but peaceful too.

  7. What a lovely place to be checking out the flowers! I like hostas a lot and the little garden houses and other decorations are just adorable. The little purple flower that you photographed is a lovely ground cover that I have in my garden.

    1. I wondered about the purple flower plant. I didn't think it was a hosta. I have some too and thought at the time , "WOW another hosta." LOL

  8. Oh, my goodness... what an awesome place to visit! I had no idea there were that many varieties of hostas. I just love all the birdhouses. I have a set of those old wagon wheels...what a neat idea to put a giant birdhouse on it! Thanks, sweet Lady, for sharing and linking up today. Hope you have a great weekend!
