I can't believe it is Friday already. However, I am very pleased. I love nothing better than sharing my passion with you all. This week it is all about birds and bird feeding.
Mr. or Mrs. Mourning dove
Not Woody, but another type of woodpecker. Not sure of it's kind.
An Indigo Bunting. Tiny and Elusive
Male Rose-Breasted Grossbeak
Mrs. Grosbeak
Male Oriole
Mommy Oriole. Even in the rain the other day she came to eat. Look just how soaked she is. I wanted to put the umbrella up for her.
We have polite birds that wait their turn. Sometimes.
Just a peak down our driveway. The leaves aren't fully out yet. I will show another one when they are out.
I hope I didn't overdue it with the photos. I had a difficult time just choosing these few.
Next week I am in Minneapolis. A very different group of photos from there.
Love your bird photos! How nice to see such a variety. We mostly see the mourning doves, cardinals, mockingbirds, grackles and hawks. There have been a few small birds that I can't identify. Every year the dives hest under our deck and we enjoy watching them.
ReplyDeleteThe birds add a nice color to the woods as we are greening up.
DeleteWe don't cardinals here, but Minneapolis does. Their song is beautiful.
Oh, you know how much I love birdie fotos, right?!? These are great, and what a variety you have around your home. The mourning doves used to roost on our front porch railing in the wintertime...that I didn't like too much because of the "drippings". :( Thanks so much for sharing and linking up..sorry to be late to visit but we had grand kiddos yesterday! HOPE you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI did not know you loved bird fotos. I will be sure to take more for sharing.
DeleteGrand kids are for sure the priority anytime.
O what Nice! I love the blue bird! This bird is so special for me. We havent this one in Europe. Wish I could seen more photos!
ReplyDeleteThe tiny blue bird is sweet isn't it? So vivid in it's color. You will see more bird fotos don't worry. I have many more to share.
DeleteGreat shots of the birds - love the indigo bunting - such a pretty color.
ReplyDeleteThe indigo buntings are a lovely color. They will be with us for most of the summer. The orioles and rose gross beaks will be leaving soon.
